Ways to prepare yourself mentally for physical exercise:

- Perform a pre-workout warm-up routine every time! Forming warm-up habits is a great way to train your body and mind to perform at it's highest.

- Relax before your workout and envision doing the intended activity.

- Visualize yourself performing the way you ought to perform. If you can believe it, you can do it!

- Set a workout goal (e.g., run 5 miles, swim 2,000 meters, etc.)
